NAR Thanks Director Kraninger for Her Service

On Monday, December 14, 2020, NAR sent a letter from President Charlie Oppler to Kathy Kraninger, Director of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB). President Oppler thanked the Director for her efforts to work with NAR over the last year to solve vital issues facing home buyers during pandemic. He also asked her for continued efforts to refine the qualified mortgage rule to reduce the, "potentially higher and inconsistent costs for consumers, discrimination, and a weakening of safety and soundness."
